Not because Spain had changed.

The biggest professional decision of my life.

I thought I was leaving Spain to build a career.

I was actually changing the way I would understand technology, business and leadership.

I wouldn’t really return to Spain for more than twenty years.

The final year of university was already closer to professional engineering than student life.

The first company.

Built while finishing university and working full-time.

No investors.

No roadmap.

Just curiosity.

The first entrepreneurial lesson:

You don’t need permission to start building.

The company lasted two years.

Financially, I broke even.

The lessons I took away have been paying dividends ever since.

Looking back…

it wasn’t really a journey from

Madrid → London → Bern → Berlin → Málaga.

It was a journey from

building software…

to building organisations…

to building impact.
