Impact

What matters now, and why success is no longer the only measure.

What matters to me now?

There was a point when my son’s illness changed the scale at which I looked at time, responsibility and success. I do not want to turn that experience into a story designed to provoke emotion. It simply changed the questions I ask before choosing a project.

It is part of why I dedicate time to an NGO related to childhood cancer. The organisation name is intentionally not published until confirmed.

It also changed the value I see in the medium-sized places where real work happens. The rural environment is not a backdrop or a limitation; it is a test of whether technology actually helps people and organisations with the resources they have.

Radio Morón is one expression of that. I am helping modernise its technology as a personal project and a hobby, working on media infrastructure, audio, automation and practical uses of artificial intelligence. It is not my professional identity. It is a project I care about.

SER Emprendedores is another reminder that useful ideas do not need to arrive in a large office to matter.

I still understand ambition and business success. I simply choose projects now by asking what they make possible for other people, not only what they make possible for me.
